A Little Spray Paint....Goes A Long Way

I finally finished a couple of projects!!!! It's about time!! First, this gold piece I picked up. It was $.50 so I didn't have a whole lot to lose. So I experimented with it!!

I was inspired by this graphic from Graphics

A coat of paint.....I drilled a hole in each side to hang prisms from.

I also added some vintage sheet music to the top. I thought about ribbon and roses.....may be a little much. I'll leave it as it until I decide.

Here is another before and after the little touch lamp. I liked it gold but.....

I heard the spray paint calling my name...(it was already out and all).

Here is the after!! It looks so good!! I even surprised myself!!!

Joining Show & Tell Friday @ My Romantic Home!!!!

  1. It looks so good. I joke and tell my husband if he stands still long enough I will spray paint him !
Fit for a castle I think. Great job

  2. Oh yes, so much better now. I like the prisms and sheet music you added to the first piece. Great transformations!

  3. Both great finds and transformations! That little touch lamp is adorable white! First time visiting your blog, I'm going to have a peek around ;)

  4. How in the world did you paint that lamp with all of those prisms? Did you take them off?? It looks Great!

  5. Looks great white and I really like the little touches you made!

  6. Hello sweet friend! Love what you did with both of your treasures! I just love to turn things white. Sometimes I even rub a little stain over my pieces to make them look kinda old.
    Have a lovely weekend.

  7. What great vision you have. You did a great job on both pieces.
