Went Shopping For Free

I was reading Rene's blog @ MissGracie'sHouse yesterday and she said she had went "Shopping" in her barn. I thought that was hilarious and decided to use it today (thanks Rene)! I saw a pair of candle sconces someone was selling and thought Hey! I have those! That began my search. I was also missing a basket that went on a stand. Couldn't find either of those things anywhere. The only place I had left was the dreaded outbuilding......ewww! So I began unloaded EVERYTHING (most terrible job ever).
Not so terrible by the time I was finished. I found these: didn't know I had them and they'll look great on the new desk! They have something to do with printing. Found all this! I didn't know I had the frame....excited! Nice surprise finding the pottery pieces too!
Knew I had these birds......somewhere! The little boxes.....I love them.

Can't wait to paint these up! They'll look great white.......feel a project in the near future!

Didn't know I had this either! Color....good............Cleaned........yes! It's ready to be put out now!
After yesterday no work....yaaay!

Why were all these great things buried in the building you ask? I have no idea! A huge lapse in judgement is all I can come up with (just don't tell hubby I admitted to something like that)! Not to mention yes I found the things I was looking for and was so excited I didn't even blog about those!!!! I'll save them for another time, everyone have a great day!!

  2. Looks like you have metal letter stamps for monogramming or printing lots of things. I think they can be used to put the letters on metal objects. They are definitely cool. Love your other treasures as well. We are big thrift shoppers too.

  6. Best shopping ever! I used to do that until we moved and decided I didn't want to keep moving my store around with me. Can't wait to see your finished products!
