Can We Say Adrenaline Rush????

Are adrenaline rush or ecstatic too strong? ....no I didn't think so either! OK, I'm going to keep you waiting for just a second. Stopped at a yard sale on my way home from school yesterday (it still sounds funny...me and school....haha). I found beautiful things but I had very little money (actually all I had was my daughters $5.00). I did find these brand new shower hooks for $2.00 and the plate rack for $1.00. Now I'll just owe my daughter $3.00!!! But wait! Are you ready for it????

I found a settee at one of my favorite shops. There were 2 in the beginning and she said $300 for the pair. Ouch! No way! So I waited.....

And waited........


Well she said she would take $200 for the pair. $100 each not a bad deal but, I only wanted one. Well, one of the settee's sold. I'm thinking I can get the other for 100 bucks. Did I have 100 bucks....no. So I waited some more..................


And waited...............


And waited..............(Let's just go on record I'm NOT a patient person)


Until yesterday. My dear friend Lena who's next door to the lady who originally had the settee ended up with it. Just out of curiosity I asked How much? She said oh, (in her Italian accent) I'll take a loss on it $50.00! Can you believe it???? I'm looking at it and still don't!!!

(Please excuse the mess......I was excited......understatement)

It's beautiful! I told her to hold it I would go get her money "right now". Even if the electricity was turned off I'd have something pretty to sit on right? Just kidding! Isn't it pretty though????


I think adrenaline rush sums up the feeling.......I'm soooooo excited!
