From Horrible To Duh!

Notice my little 3 tiered plate in the bottom corner??? That's the only view your going to get! I took this picture and set it on the kitchen table to keep it from getting broken....... We were all back through the house and heard a huge crash! You know, the dreaded sound of glass shattering. We all ran in everyone is OK and this is what we saw (just in the floor).

Words of advice always tighten up those loose screws. I knew it was loose and tightened it up a little. How it tipped over....I don't know. This is all I have left. I'm so sad. Thinking I can use plates or metal trays someday. Right now I'm just too upset to do anything at all.Grrrr

On to better things ....... Do you ever feel really stupid??? Well, that was this morning. Little one's home sick so no church. Don't ask me why but I looked at this lamp (remember the $2.00 one) and couldn't understand why the crystal cup didn't have holes for prisms.

Well......guess what, after a year of having it.....surprise! It does. I can't believe I didn't check! Duh! How stupid!

Doesn't it look better? I love them! If I could get the girls or dogs to stand still long enough they would have prisms too.....lol.

Maybe I'll be more careful and check next time.....nah your right, probably not!
Have a great Sunday!

  1. That's so sad about that tiered plate! It looks like it was a beauty....I hate it when I break stuff that I love.

    Love those prisms.

  2. So sorry to hear about the 3 tier. If you save the pieces that separated the plates, you can make a new one with regular plates. You have to use a special drill bit for glass. Hope it works out for you. Thanks for stopping by.
