I Love Free!

I'm joining Marla @Always Nesting for Woo HooWednesday

I'm also joining Kathleen @ Faded Charm for White Wednesday

Thought I would share some freebies! This chandy I rescued out of my grandfathers garage. It was covered in dirt and grime. Fresh coat of paint, a new chain, and beads to dress it up and here she is!
Next are the chunky candle holders. I've had these forever and had them in a yard sale recently. They began life silver. I saw potential, brought them home, sprayed, and they look so much better.
My cabinet finished. I'm really happy with the distressed look. As most of you already know it belonged to my grandmother.....free!

Well, at least one project finished....thankfully! Have a great day!

  1. HI Crystal,

That cabinet will come in so handy in so many ways. Storing quilts, fabrics, or a collection of something with the doors open - its a great piece!

  2. My three favorits, free, chandeliers and cabinets. They look great. Happy WW.

  3. I adore the cabinet! Thanks for sharing!!

  4. Great pieces from your grandparents! They're such wonderful keepsakes, and you did a great job transforming them. I wish I knew how to distress a piece of furniture and make it look as good as you did that cabinet!
This is my first White Wednesday, so it's very nice to meet you, and I'm going to go look through the rest of your blog!
    Happy WW!

  5. Woo Hoo! If only I could follow you around for a week my home would be filled with such great "stuff." You have the best finds! Thanks for sharing this at Woo Hoo! Wednesday.

  6. Hi Crystal, that chandelier is just wonderful, and how cool that you got the cabinet from your grdandparents. It's really beautiful!

  7. Love the cabinet! Just became a follower:)
