Day 3 Project

Well, I'm actually doing better than what I thought (I planned to get distracted and quit...tee hee hee) !! I have made it to day 3!! This is a very simple project. It began with a lampshade.....

These are old Home Interior pieces. They were dirt cheap and originally gold. I little spray paint....

I wired them onto the shade added some chain....and here it is!! Instant lampshade!! I think I may ditch the chain....I thought I wanted a hanging lamp......but, as the day went on I made a change.....

                                                                 Added some glass beads.....

And put it on an existing lamp! I think I love it....do I love it??? I guess time will tell!
Anyhoo....Day 3 project....FINISHED!!!

I also had the day off school today (isn't it funny no matter how old you are you still enjoy a day off school?)
I cleaned....no, not that a normal person can tell....but, I did!!! As long as I was cleaning why not rearrange (and eat candy....see the box of nerds my daughter brought home for me).

New look for the coffee table...I like this one much better....I need to find my "matching" candles....that's a story for another day.....

I was watching TV today and someone was talking about being thankful for the small things.....one of my favorite things to do....open the windows on a windy day!! Oh, it's so wonderful!!! It began to rain....love the sound and feel of rain.

I decided to store some of my trays in the wire basket....I really like the way it looks and it's a great storage solution.....(for someone that has....NO STORAGE)!!!

Couldn't help sneaking a couple of puppy pics in....it's almost time for them to find new homes.....the house will be so empty without them....may I introduce to you Elliot!!!

This is Miles.....I tell him all the time he's miles and miles of fun!!!

Well, I didn't realize I had so much to say!!! I'm joining Kathleen @ faded charm.blog spot.com
for White Wednesday!!!
