I've been looking through back issues of Country Living Magazine. My mom inherited 4 boxes of them!!!
I wanted to share some of the wonderful rooms I've discovered.

Capers of the vintage vixens
I remember this issue, it is fun and well done. To me it should be in a magazine called, Shabby Chic, No Country. I live in the country and no one lives like this. We have wonderful, crockery, baskets, quilts, pine, harvest tables and black eyed susans. The whole world has gone mad and doing this shabby stuff. I for one am tired of it. Lets go back to when country was country and Victorian was Victorian. If you like shabby, fine, but the whole world likes to see a little something else.
